What People Are Saying…

"It was a great cruise.  I really enjoyed the dance lessons Susan, thank you, you sure are a patient person... :-)"-- Elizabeth Rockhill

"Great time Susan!!! I am ready to go back on the boat and it is only Tuesday!!!" -- Rob Noble

"It was a great cruise can't wait till 2012 and yes it is like a very large family. Glad your home safe. "  "Had a great time. A fantastic job was done by all. Now we just have to wait till 2012 for another blast." -- Diane Riebe

"It was over way too soon!  Just when you get comfy with the lay of the ship and a routine, it is time to go home!  Loved the Happy Hours :o)" -- Linda Lawrence

Great pics! I had an awesome time!" -- Deidra McWilliams Bates

What a trip! The music magic aboard the ship was just brilliant. Noel V. Ginnity said it well: "There's more smiles per nautical mile on the Andy Cooney cruise."  A great combination of European-Italian culture, American & Irish musicians and Caribbean climate! -- Nancy Comerford

We have just returned home from the Cruise of Irish Stars and wanted to thank you for a wonderful trip.  This was our second cruise with you and they get better every time.  You have assembled an outstanding group of musicians and you all seemed to feed off one another.  This made the performances even better.  You and your band were great, Ronan was great and that was to be expected, but the contributions of Tom Comerford and Stephen’s Green were also super.  Tom Comerford better join a union because you had him working everywhere.  I was particularly pleased to hear him say that this was his best week of the year and he looked forward to it all year long.  We could not believe how great Paddy Cole and Carmel Dempsey were.  Carmel brought every set that she was involved to life and I hope that y ou bring her back so that we can see and hear more of her.  Paddy Cole just proves that musicians get better with age.  I also want to tell you that we brought three other couples to the cruise and they all enjoyed the cruise.  This was a great vacation, thanks again. -- Mike and Dotty Melville, Pawleys Island, SC

Once again, I thoroughly enjoyed the cruise! I'm glad I got to personally meet you (Susan) this year.  I think this year was even better than last year.  The entertainment was exceptional and unbelievable!!!  I was so glad we got to meet Paddy Noonan after last year when everyone was mistaking my dad for him....loved him!!!  Also, of course ANDY...goes without even being said.  He's always so kind and takes such special interest in everyone who talks to him.  He makes you feel like a long time friend even if he doesn't know you.  He's such a talented man.  My mom loves hearing him sing "Danny Boy". Said he sings it better than anyone she has ever heard!!!!  Ronan Tynan--goes without even having to say a word ... But I will - he brings tears to my eyes!!  And Tom Comerford - we love him too!  He's a great addition to the cruise.  Each entertainer has such a different specialty and style.  THAT is what makes Andy Cooney’s cruises so wonderful and different than any others I've been on. -- Maureen Rogers

My husband, Jeremiah, and I had the time of our lives January 26-February 2, 2008 on the cruise with Andy, Ronan Tynan, etc. to the Western Caribbean on the Costa Mediterranea.  Noel V. had us rolling in the aisle with laughter. Step Dancers were outstanding; Stephen’s Green always fantastic; Screaming Orphans were wonderful; Simon Casey sang one of my favorites, "You Raise Me Up"; talented Paddy Cole; everyone was on their game...So glad we experienced this dynamic event.  Before the cruise, we caught Andy at Fr. John's K of C in Garden City, NY at Christmas. Took the roof off with his singing of, "The Holy City." Delighted he performed it the final night of the cruise in the theater. "The Holy City," and "When the Saints Go Marching In" had everyone on their feet, applauding, and cheering. We are still talking about it!!  Thanks again for a wonderful, wonderful cruise. What talent, thank you Andy.--Jeremiah and Elizabeth Connelly

We have just returned from Andy's Western Cruise.  Needless to say we are "over the moon" about it. We enjoyed last years cruise, but this year it was even better.  How does Andy do it?--Art Curry

I truly enjoyed the entertainment and keep singing Irish songs in my mind.  Already talking about next years cruise (2009)--Maureen Rogers

We just came back from a most enjoyable cruise hosted by Andy Cooney.  It was great--Marilyn and John Winans

Looking forward to 2008 cruise!!!!! --Marlene

Just back from The Cruise of Irish Stars 2007.  One of, if not the best vacations we’ve ever been on.  Hoping to go on the 2008 cruise.  Great job Andy, keep it up!--Brian Erskine

What People Are Saying…MSC Poesia Cruise Reviews

“We sailed on the MSC Poesia on Dec. 26. No complaints whatsoever - friendly staff all around us. The Cabin Steward, Ketut, was a dream, and anytime I had a question or needed anything he would respond to my request within seconds. As a home based travel agent, it was great to experience your cruise line first hand and hopefully the next time we can upgrade to a suite. I will not hesitate to recommend this cruise to clients, family and friends. A great time and lots of fun." -- Maria O'Donnell, MSC Poesia, December 26, 2010

“MSC Poesia is the most modern, classy, elegant, clean and sophisticated cruise ship ever. The shows are great, sumptuous food, and staff members are very warm and friendly. Not to mention kids sail for” free” The artistic touch and Italian interior of the vessel made me feel as if I was in Venice, Italy. ‘A Taste of Italy’ is how I described MSC Poesia. My family were truly happy, satisfied and we can't wait to board other MSC Cruise Ships in future to the Mediterranean this time. ” -- Eden Zamora, MSC Poesia, 2010

“We cruised on the MSC Poesia on the "Into the Rain Forest" Cruise from November 1-11, 2010. We liked the layout of the ship and the ease of going from one area to another. Although this was our first time in an inside cabin, we felt that the cabin was comfortable and met our space needs. The decor of the MSC Poesia is impressive! And we loved the ambiance which we found to be classy, relaxing, and fun in a more subdued manner compared to other cruise lines we’ve been on. Overall, it was a wonderful cruise experience and we will definitely cruise with MSC in the future.” -- Ken and Carol Jeffery, MSC Poesia, November 1, 2010

This is my 5th MSC Cruise. I think the Poesia is my favorite ship. I found all staff friendly and helpful, their service added to our enjoyment at the dinner. The cabin was neat and clean, they quickly responded to any of our requests. Their hard work increased the pleasure of the cruise and their willingness to listen and to respond to passenger comments, they are truly interested in making an MSC cruise an exceptional experience.  -- Brian Provini, MSC Poesia, 2010

“I am a professional tour guide, and my hobby to travel fits with my job. I booked a cruise to Europe with MSC last year onboard the MSC Poesia and it was unforgettable. I decide to book another cruise, this time, with my daughter and two grandchildren on March 19, onboard the MSC Splendida from Genova. ” -- Antoaneta Sokolova, MSC Poesia, Transatlantic cruise, April 27, 2010

We just returned from a cruise on the beautiful Poesia.  Good food, good service, professionally friendly staff and excellent entertainment.  Different from other cruises we have been on; this one was truly an international flair.  We look forward to our next MSC cruise,” – John Craig, MSC Poesia, April 2010
